Mayzuh Company Limited conducted a new Specialized Takaful Training to a number of trainees including from ZIC Takaful again. The training took place from 09:00 hrs to 16:00 hrs Tanzanian local time and was conducted by internationally renowned Islamic Finance trainer, Shk Mohamed Issa. The trainees were exposed to introduction to Islamic Insurance (Takaful) meaning, concept, difference between Takaful and conventional insurance, practices, classes, models (structures) and Tanzania Insurance Regulatory Authority (TIRA) Takaful Guidelines 2022. At the end of the training, the trainees were awarded their Takaful Training attendance certificate recognized by TIRA. Speaking at the closing ceremony of the training, trainee Mr. Juma Mmanga (ZIC Takaful Public Relations Officer (PRO) said "There is a need for Mayzuh has to organize a specialized training to media editors so that they help in disseminating the Takaful knowledge via the media". On his side, trainee Mr. Hassan Mohamed from Britam Insurance, said "these training are very important to us insurance practitioners. I am very excited to be part of this training. We congratulate Mayzuh Company. the training was also graced by the presence of madame Fatuma Majalla-Mayzuh Managing Director, Mr. Khalifa Rehani-Mayzuh Risk Management Director and Mr. Juma Issa-Mayzuh Accountant. Mayzuh Company Limited has now become a house-hold name in providing in-house trainings on various components of Islamic finance such as banking, Takaful, Sukuk, microfinance, Halal Funds etc. Last week, Mayzuh conducted a specialized training to 20 trainees from Ministry of Finance and Planning of Zanzibar government on Takaful as well. It went on to provide a short training to officials from Ministry of Finance and Planning Zanzibar and West Unguja Municipality B on Sukuk.
